Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani has been an extremely popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the wealthiest and most affluent. He was a member of Shottas with another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani recorded his first album, titled Like Father Like Son in 1996. It was then followed by Dear Dad", which reached number 1 in the British chart of reggae. Ky-Mani performed with Praswell from Fugees for Avenue in 1997, which was a hugely hit cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was a guest in Midem (international musical showcase) during its time in Miami for the first time. In the Cameo Theatre Marley performed a show that was broadcast live on air by the Caribbean News Agency to 36 nations. Marley came to be the target of bidding battles. In 1997, Marley was signed to Gee Street/V2 Records, and also completed a collaborative project together with P.M. Dawn who sang the song Gotta Movin' on Up in the song.
